UITP offers many services to its members and the sector at large.
Whether we build knowledge within specific organisations or share innovations with the entire sector, all our services and tools help us in our goal of advancing sustainable urban mobility.
Resources for members
In 2022, we launched several new dedicated resources to help our members make the most of their UITP membership. We set up a new member information page on our website, showcasing how our members can tap into the knowledge available on MyLibrary, how they can engage with UITP campaigns, and how they can join our upcoming events.
We also published the UITP Communication Pack, which provides all the information members need to engage with UITP’s communications channels to raise their organisation’s visibility.
To help our members more easily find current funding opportunities from the European Union institutions, we launched the UITP EU Funding Opportunities tool. It shows all useful information on selected EU funds and financing instruments available for the local public transport sector in Europe. The page supports members, transport professionals and decision-makers engaged in shaping the post-pandemic mobility landscape by showing.
ADVANCING TALENT IN PUBLIC TRANSPORT
UITP Academy
The UITP Academy advances talent for public transport stakeholders through a variety of training services including custom in-house trainings, open-calendar programmes, and a growing body of e-learning options.
It also helps business improve their services through analysis and fresh insights for managerial, administrative and operational processes, with valuable reporting and recommendations by UITP and hands-on international experts.
In 2022, UITP Academy celebrated many milestones:
- honoured the first group of graduates of the Laurent Dauby Diploma Programme
- organised an advanced capacity building training programme on E-bus in India
- developing the first mobile learning for RATPDev

Learning Management System
One of the most important landmarks included the launch of the Learning Management System (LMS): a new digital platform for delivering, tracking and reporting on training programmes. With numerous usage possibilities, this new service will provide a great additional feature among the variety of learning options offered by the UITP Academy.
